All Trimax SM2200/Spacelab satellite finders sold by Beir Nabala on or
after 07/15/2008 will have the latest firmware and satellite list
installed into the unit. No need to download this software into your
units.
The following programs and files are provided as USE AT
YOUR OWN RISK. If you are not computer savvy or unsure of what to
do, please do not do it.
After downloading the firmware or
the satellite list, you MUST WAIT until the unit restarts by itself.
Failure to wait will cause the unit to malfunction and stop working.

Quick instructions:
The following is a quick guide. Detailed guide with pictures can be
found in the MeterToolV1.2 file
You need to upgrade the firmware only if you have a version that is lower
than version 1.04
Version 1.04 has a great feature which allows your Trimax to read the
satellite NID. That is, it can identify which satellite it is locked onto.

Connect your Trimax to the PC using the cable that came
with the unit

Connect your unit to electric power. Turn your unit
ON.

Run MeterV1.2 program. Make sure the you get the
message "Successfully opened COM1"

Click on Load Software

Select the firmware to download. Current version is called
(rom_trimax_american.bin)
The default polarity values of some DSS satellites such as
Echostar 7 and Echostar 1,2 are reversed. I created a new satellite list
which fixes this problem and also adds missing satellites such as Echostar
8,10, Nimiq 1 and Nimiq 2

Downloading the satellite list is similar to downloading the firmware.
Just click on "Write Parameters" and select one of the following files.
